Make It Meaningful: Winter Clipboard Paper Crafting Tutorial

It's hard to believe that the chill of winter is about to set in when it is just October 1st. Needing something to cheer myself up after that depressing thought, I wanted to create a charming home decor project I could display in my home. Who could be sad about winter with the sweet little snowman found within the "Bundled Up" collection by Carta Bella Paper? I love the wintery colors in the collection, and decided to focus on this collection for a seasonal altered clipboard.

I only used a few papers and the stickers from this collection, leaving you with plenty of other materials for matching projects.

Step 1: Cut a piece of patterned paper to fit on the clipboard. Leave enough room for the back of the clipboard to still show on the front of the project. Use a corner rounder to round all four corners. Then add a border sticker across the bottom of the paper.

Step 2: Using the papers and stickers from the collection kit, create four separate rectangles. Use the 3" x 4" Journaling Cards as foundations for these rectangles or cut your own 3" x 4" rectangles from the paper within the collection.

Step 3: Mount the rectangles on the clipboard using even spacing around each rectangle within the grid.

Step 4: Decorate the clipboard with additional embellishments including buttons, gems, and ribbon.

Here's another look at the completed project. If you use only the clip on the clipboard to hold the background paper in place, then you can easily change out the project for a new one each season. Imagine what you can do with all the holiday and seasonal papers available on the market!
