Stamped Christmas Ornament

I love looking through Target's amazing holiday decor. It's all I can do to be good and stick to my budget. This year they blew me away with their incredible options. I purchased two red, metal star ornaments with the idea of altering them just a bit. This is what I created:

To create this project you will need:

* A red, metal star ornament
* Tinsel with a wire running through it
* Black cardstock
* Snowflake stamp
* White Stamping Ink
* A brad
* A paper piercer
* A 1 to 1 1/2" circle punch
* Black ribbon

Use white stamping ink to stamp a snowflake onto black cardstock. When dry, use the paper punch to punch a circle around the snowflake. Use a punch that is slightly larger than the snowflake image you've chosen. Use a paper piercer to poke a hole through the center of the snowflake image. Add a brad. Mount the punched circle into the center of the red star ornament. Wrap the tinsel into a circle and attach ends together. Mount around the stamped snowflake image. Add black ribbon to the top of the ornament.

Here's another look at this project. Be sure to pin it for inspiration later!
